Here are the power rankings for Week 3. The rankings were 8-6 last week. For the season, we’re 28-18, or tied for 8th in King Kaufman’s Panel Of Experts. We’ll stick with the combined ’05-’06 power rankings for at least another week, since they outperformed the ’06-only rankings last week. For review, here is this [...]
Here are the two beatpath graphs for the conclusion of Week 3. First, for 2006 only: Next, for 2005-2006 combined:
We have our first beatloop of the season already – ARI=>SF=>STL=>ARI. Here is the 2006 beatpath graph before MNF. More soon.
And here are the power rankings for the conclusion of Week 2. While we’re still playing with how much data to represent, I’ll include both versions of power rankings – 2005/2006 combined (which I’ll treat as official), and 2006 only (which I’ll include just for fun). Not all that valuable yet, but interesting. I like these early graphs before all the beatloops come into play, because you can pretty [...]
Behold the genius of Beatpaths’ Week 1! The beatfluke picks from the 2005 end-of-season rankings were 9-7 last week – pretty bad, but I think the picks were pretty bad for a lot of people last week, thanks to the NFC South. More interesting discussion below.
Long post here – we have the final beatpath graph for 2005, the final power rankings for the end of 2005, and the picks for Week 1. This is based off of taking all of the game results seriously (even Miami beating New England in the final game), using the beatflukes variant. We’ll use this [...]
